Policy
What we collect through this website, why, and what we do not do with it.
Last Updated
25 August 2026
This policy covers glenwoodsouthtailor.com. It does not cover anything that happens in the shop, over the telephone, or on the third-party platforms we link to — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google each have their own policies.
What we collect
Through the enquiry form: your first name, and optionally your last name, email address, telephone number, the subject you select, your message, and whether you ticked the box asking to hear from us.
Through the booking pages: whatever the appointment form asks for — usually your name, email address and telephone number — plus card details where an appointment takes a deposit. Those are handled by our scheduling provider and its payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
First name and email address are required, because without them we cannot reply. Everything else is optional.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, and to arrange an appointment if that is what you are asking for. If you ticked the opt-in box, also to send you occasional notes about new cloth and events — and not otherwise.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are delivered to us through a third-party form service, which processes the message on our behalf. Appointments are taken through a third-party scheduling provider, which holds your booking details and processes any deposit. Our website host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as every web host does.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
What this site does not do
No analytics. No advertising pixels. No behavioural tracking. This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and photographs are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so loading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.
The one exception is the booking calendar. It is embedded from our scheduling provider, so opening a booking page loads content from them and they may set their own cookies inside it, under their privacy policy rather than ours. Every other page on this site loads nothing from anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as we need them to serve you, and as long as our records require. If you asked to hear from us, we keep your details until you tell us to stop.
Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To stop hearing from us, say so in a reply or email letstalk@glenwoodsouthtailor.com — there is no hoop to jump through.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
